These candles, selected and crafted with care, are not simply products—they are meaningful creations designed to carry the powerful message of Jesus Christ. Each one is chosen and scented with purpose, inviting you to draw near to Jesus and stirring an excitement to search out the Scriptures.

Throughout the Bible, we see that obeying God is described as a pleasing fragrance to Him. When we follow His ways and patterns, we maintain a close relationship with Him. The message of Christ is likened to a sweet aroma, and as we grow in Him, His fragrance begins to emanate from our lives, bringing joy to God and testifying of His Life to those around us.

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 NET [14] But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and who makes known through us the fragrance that consists of the knowledge of him in every place. [15] For we are a sweet aroma (fragrance NLT) of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing – [16] to the latter an odour from death to death, but to the former a fragrance from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?

This fragrance is the knowledge of Christ, and God desires to make it known through His people. As this fragrance spreads, it produces one of two responses: belief, love, and obedience to Christ—or unbelief, resistance, and rebellion. For those who receive Christ, it brings life; for those who reject Him, it brings the sobering reality of eternal consequences, because the Gospel of Christ confronts every heart with the choice of repentance and freedom or condemnation.

Fragrance is something that is naturally released—it doesn’t require words. Just as the fragrance of someone wearing perfume fills a room without saying a word, so the Gospel of Christ is expressed through our lives. Without uttering a word, those around us can sense His presence. To some, it is a life-giving aroma; to others, it may be a challenge or even a repellent.

As you explore each candle below, you’ll discover more about the wonderful Gospel we proclaim. You’ll encounter the Suffering Servant—Jesus—who, while we were still sinners, offered His life to remove the eternal punishment that awaited us and still awaits those who do not call on His name. You’ll also learn what it means to become a new creation in Christ Jesus and the blessings and challenges of that journey. Beyond this, you’ll find that those who remain in Him are also called to become His Bride, and together we’ll explore what that means and how to embrace it. My prayer is that as we uncover these different facets of Christ, our love and devotion for Him will only deepen.
